Elke Savala graduated from the Meisterschule fur Mode, Munich Germany with a Bachelors Degree in Design.

She Continued Education at the Fashion Institute of Technology and at Parsons School of Design in NY, NY. and recently studied Multimedia Art at the Berkeley City College in Berkeley, CA.

Elke created a line of wearable art and accessories. Disinterested in marketing this goods, she shifted her attention towards Painting. Events in Elke's life lead here to pursue here other passion, the healing arts.
She is also an Ayurvedic and Mind-Body Therapist with a private practice.

Elke enjoys utilizing traditional painting materials as well as new technologies, such as digital photography/ printmaking. With here deep interested in the nature of the human mind and universal mythologies, she aspires to build a bridge between art and healing.

Her surreal and abstract work centers around the human form. Elke is inspired by nature, de stilling its spirit in to abstract organic shapes. Surreal elements are woven into her works, often reveling only to the close observer hidden worlds and meanings.

Elke exhibited here works in Munich, New York, Atlanta and the San Francisco Bay Area.
